YELLOWSTONE - Here I come!

Last Summer, I took my entire family including my parents to the Yellowstone National Park. It was a blast! but it did require months of planning and patience :) Here is my blog to help others who are planning a trip to the Famous National Park, so hopefully you will have a smoother faster planning.

Itinerary - Seattle to Yellowstone in an RV!

You might be wondering why it took so long to get from Seattle to Yellowstone, and ...why we did only 3 days in Yellowstone?

Traveling in an RV with 6 family members requires a ton of time and patience. Hence, we made many stops between trips, enjoying the travel than just the destination were our priorities atleast mine ;)

Rest assured we did cover all the major spots at the Park, thanks for the daily planning and guided tours (huge shout out to Matt& Cheryle from https://wereintherockies.com) that we purchased ahead of time.

BUY YOUR PASS: There is a National Park pass you will need to buy, which is the entrance fee. It is available here: https://www.recreation.gov/sitepass/72451- Reserve and Plan ahead!

ATTRACTIONS

So wonderful right! Well, not quite, there were moments where the grandparents had to help out with the tweenagers!

Stop-1 SPOKANE was a refreshing surprise :)

Stop-2 Bozeman,Montana

Stop-3 Missoula, Montana

Final-Stop YELLOWSTONE, WY or is it MT ? ;)

DAY-1:

DAY-1: Geysers galore! Grant Prismatic Springs, Old Faithful

DAY-2: More Geysers, Hayden Valley, Intro to Bisons, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone & Horseback riding

GEEKING OUT a Bit!

We loved learning about volcanic landforms, geothermal systems and hydrothermal systems. Fascinating to understand the difference between hot springs, geysers, mud pots, and fumaroles.

Lots of activity packed into such a small region!
